Independent game studio · built on a love for games
RJ Games Division is a tiny independent studio chasing one thing across every genre we touch: that just-one-more-go feeling. Arcade brawlers, cozy sims, narrative adventures, multiplayer mayhem — whatever the idea demands. If it's fun to play, it's on the table.
Our games
We're starting where our hearts are loudest. More projects, in more genres, are already in the works.
2-on-2 arcade ultimate frisbee in the spirit of NBA Jam — turbo sprints, bone-rattling shoves, layout dives, and a flaming disc that screams across the field. Playable right now in your browser, with the full release landing April 2027.
The studio
We grew up across it all — arcades, RPGs, couch co-op, sprawling open worlds, tiny weird indies. We don't believe in being a one-genre studio. We follow the fun wherever it leads and build whatever the idea wants to be, from a frantic multiplayer match to a quiet story you can't stop thinking about.
No bloated roadmaps, no battle passes. Just tightly-tuned games, shipped with obsessive attention to game feel, and updated in the open.
How we build
A look at how a half-formed idea becomes a game you can't put down.
Before art or story, we find the one verb the player repeats forever and make it feel incredible. If the core loop isn't fun greyboxed, nothing downstream saves it.
We cut a thin, ship-quality slice of the whole experience early — one level, fully juiced — so we're playtesting the real thing, not a spreadsheet.
Screen shake, hit-stop, particles, squash-and-stretch, audio punch. The difference between "functional" and "irresistible" lives in these last 10%.
We put builds in front of real players constantly and watch their hands, not their notes. Every confusing moment is a bug; every grin is a signal.
Rapid build-measure-tune cycles. We ship to a live web build first, gather telemetry, and roll fixes out fast — the game is never "done," just better.
Polish forever and you ship nothing. We scope hard, kill darlings, and get the game into hands. A played game beats a perfect design doc every time.
Roadmap
Play free in your browser today: vs CPU, local 2-player, or online. New teams, stadiums, and feel tuning landing continuously.
Expanded roster, more stadiums, online matchmaking polish, and native desktop builds in testing.
The 1.0: full team roster, season mode, online leaderboards, and a soundtrack that goes hard. Launching April 2027.
A new project in a different genre is already in the prototype bin. We'll talk about it when it earns it. Stay tuned.
